Toothache is the worst pain tat I've ever experienced. Oh yeah, worse than period pain. If u got fever, stomachache, period pain or watever, u can still sleep. But wisdom toothache. OMG!!! My left wisdom tooth actually grew back in 2005 n I had tat pain for almost a mth. It was fine until end of previous mth, May...It started to pain again. Tis time is worse than ever.
My gum was swollen wif the yellow thinggy (I forgot the name for tat thing, we call it nanah in Malay while nong in Chinese). It was so painful tat I can't even bite, tat tooth shall not have contacts wif any tooth/gum above it. My jaws was kinda swollen n it creates tension on my neck n my head, hence headache. I hardly even slept at nite! I have to consume painkillers in order to sleep. N painkillers don't work every nite. I still feel a lil of the pain. Nevertheless, I don't sleep well for the whole week.
After the pain I've suffered for almost two weeks, I've extract tat damned wisdom tooth of mine tis morning. It wasn't tat painful anymore, just a very lil' pain. I went to the dentist tat I've been visiting regularly, Dr. Aziz. No doubt, he is the best dentist / orthodontic specialist in Miri. I'm glad I did nt do it in a dental clinic in Batu Gajah while I'm in uni, the dentist was saying the cost of extracting my wisdom tooth will cost btwn RM100-200. Expensive rite, coz tat dentist in BG wasn't even specialist. Good thing I visited the dentist in BG is she prescribed me with antibiotic for the swell. I got better.
Dr. Aziz was looking at my dental card n said to me "u've removed ur braces for 7 yrs...." I was like oh, really! I was kinda surprised n replied him "Is it? I didn't realize it was this long!" So he checked my tooth at first n say "ur teeth r stil beautiful". I've maintained my teeth pretty well :). Then I told him bt my wisdom tooth n blabla. Since I didn't have appointment today so I'm nt sure if he's free to extract my tooth. Luckily he got time today so I decided to remove it.
He gave me 3 shots of anaesthetic. Tat makes my gum n mouth really numb. It was a lil pain when he injected the anaesthetic on my gum gum. For the wisdom tooth extraction, it wasn't painful. The wisdom tooth extraction cost me RM70 including the painkillers n antibiotics. My wisdom tooth extraction was just a simple one, like normal tooth extraction, requires surgery or stitches. Tats y it wasn't so expensive. I'm glad my wisdom tooth was fully grown else I would nid to do surgery where it might even cost RM500-600. I did not keep my wisdom tooth tat I've just extracted.
The anaesthetic seems like fading away now I can feel the pain. Dentist tell me tat it will pain for a day. No seafood till after 3 days. Eat protein foods n eat wif right side of teeth. I'm considering to extract another wisdom tooth of mine end of this mth. My right wisdom tooth doesn't give me any problem so far so I'm stil thinkin. I'm afraid if it suddenly giv me prob in the future. Right now, I'm losing a lot of blood. haha! *ouch*

Yup..Better get it extracted.
Unfortunately , i had to go for surgery for 2 of my tooths. Thus, it cost me RM1000+ for it T_T
So consider u lucky that you paid only RM70 or even RM200 is considered cheap.
i lot of my tooth is paining and i still dunno wat to do.. scare to go to dentist! hahaha.
Kris, u r a lil unlucky...Mine don nid surgery. RM1k is a huge loss bt wat to do haha. I'm glad mine is below RM100.
bwui, lot of ur tooth? u knw wat? i luv visiting the dentist! :P however tis time i got a lil scared when d dentist gonna extract my wisdom tooth, prob b4 tis it was super pain. 3 days passed n I stil kenot bite properly. can't enjoy food :(.
Unfortunately, i still got 1 left that i had to do some extreme filing, either that another extraction.
I almost argue with the dentist , as i remember that i have all the "wisdom" plug out of me!!!
2 people i dont like : Doctors and dentist..(no offense for doctors or future docs out there, future dentist)
Make that one more!! Lawyers!! Everytime meet them ..need to pay huge sums of money (no offense to lawyers too) .. LOL...
U better do it soon, before they increase the price in the v near future. I think u better extract it than filling it. Don't worry, those "wisdom" r pretty useless.
wah, almost argue, lol! LoL! I think if I hav kids in the future, I wanna make 1 doctor n 1 dentist, save medical cost, loL!
its really hard and painful whenever we experience toothache most specially if it's our wisdom tooth. I actually got tooth ache last week and I really don't know what to do and cause it gives me too much pain. Then I decided to go to my dentist, it was treated well, thanks.
