I love musical instruments especially the piano. Ever since I am a kid I always wanted to learn piano, really love the sound of the piano! However, my mum refuse to send me for piano lessons :(. She said it is a waste of money. Due to my strong passion for learning the piano, I actually asked my cousin to teach me and even learned myself! She actually teached me up to Level 2 / Grade 1. So I could play the classical music from the typical piano books up to Grade 1-2 only. Then I even joined my school marching/brass band since primary school and that's where I learnt the music theories from.
The other musical instruments I have learnt to play are recorder, french horn and violin. I have forgotten most of the notes already as I haven't been playing all these instruments for ages. Recently, I am keen to learn guitar. I think I got the influence from Jay Chou, Lee Hom & Jayesslee. I feel like it's quite nice if I am able to learn guitar as it's feasible to bring it around to play and sing at the same time. Then there is a friend who is willing to teach so why not! I always thought guitar is quite easy to play but I guess I was very wrong.
After the guitar lesson #101, I realize it's not easy to learn guitar. What's more when I start learning on acoustic guitar and it is really really painful! I would not forget how my friend pressed my fingers on the acoustic guitar strings when I first learn guitar. It is so torturous to the finger tips, my fingers were extremely pain and I even screamed. Despite all the pain, I will keep on practising till my fingers get use to it, won't give up just like that *determined*. I am keen to master the basic chords to play one of my favourite english song. Hopefully it won't take me too long to master the basic chords. I actually took some photos while I was practising the guitar this morning just for fun as I was too free.
