Victory is Sweet

I am not a person who loves to outdo others or to be more accurate, in mandarin '好勝' but I love the feeling of winning, very exciting especially when I don't even expect it! It feels really good to win sth, it's like scoring an A grade in studies. Recently, early of Dec, my company organized annual dinner with the team Freaky Friday Annual Dinner & Dance. And for the dinner, the committee organized a talent show competition and the reward is MYR3000. The condition is it has to be at least 5 person in a group. I did think of taking part but I couldn't get so many people so forget it!

So, a bunch of my colleague of my dept was actually discussing about participating in the talent show in the very last minute (the day before annual dinner itself). And A actually asked me to joined her group for the performance, the group plan to perform The Cranberries - Zombie, live band show with a singer, 2 guitarist and a drummer, while the rest of us will be acting/dancing. I actually love taking parts in such thing and since A invited me along so since she need ppl and I don't have to specially dress up so why not! A is a great singer...she has got a powerful vocal. So my group actually consist of 11ppl, I act as a human, all I do is acting, running ard chased by the zombies... I just want to have fun and did not expect to win anything. 

There were actually four team competing, they do dancing/acting/drama and there is one team doing mario thing, I would say very creative. Guess what, my team actually won the competition, the 3k cheque so wheeeeee!!! Big credit to the live band, esp the singer. Our live band performance was very power! I am just like supporting role but I am glad to help and to be part of the team!  Just last month in my company's amazing race, I am in the winning team as well but the reward is not cash. Oh yay, victory is really sweet!!!
